Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, a hotel where Kanazawa's tradition and art intertwine, announces the launch of "Cheese Afternoon Tea Chapter 2" at its all-day dining restaurant "FIVE – Grill & Lounge" starting March 1, 2026 (Sunday). This upgraded version builds on last year's highly popular cheese-themed afternoon tea experience.
Cheese, considered one of humanity's oldest foods, has evolved alongside regional climates and cultures. From fresh to aged varieties, each cheese offers diverse flavors and textures with unique stories from their places of origin. The first chapter captivated many guests with afternoon tea featuring cheese personalities from various regions. This second chapter expands the journey further, showcasing cheeses from even more countries in original sweets and savory dishes for a new delicious voyage.

The experience begins with an amuse featuring UCHINADA Cheese from Ishikawa Prefecture's Uchinada Town paired with seasonal strawberries. Following this, an array of masterpieces featuring cheeses from Italy, France, Switzerland, Denmark, America, Australia, and New Zealand awaits, including brulee, ice cream, Basque cheesecake, and arancini. These menu items creatively combine cheese characteristics with various cooking methods, allowing guests to enjoy a delicious journey through Japan and the world.
The lineup also incorporates local ingredients such as Noto beef, Noto pork bacon, and bread from Kanazawa's Notohiba Cala Bakery. The high-quality local flavors enrich this blissful journey.
