Hyatt Regency Kyoto, situated in the Higashiyama district near Sanjusangendo, is launching a series of summer limited menus at its in-house restaurants and bar spanning the June–September period.

Trattoria Sette – Summer Course

Trattoria Sette Summer Course

Trattoria Sette (2F) is presenting a "Summer Course" themed around southern Italy. The menu features seasonal produce—paprika, tomato, cucumber, and fig—combined with lighter preparations evoking the coast of Sicily.

Period: June 15 – August 31, 2026
Price: ¥10,000 (tax and service charge included)
Note: Dinner only; reservations required for parties of 2 or more.

Course Menu:

  • Salmon sous vide – Greek-style pickles and vegan mayonnaise made with soy milk
  • Chitarra pasta with shichimi – braised baby octopus and paprika sauce, lemon

  • Lunch: ¥4,200 (add ¥600 for soup; tax and service charge included)
  • Dinner: ¥4,800 (soup included; tax and service charge included)

Menu:

  • Appetizer platter: grilled corn consommé jelly, asparagus and prosciutto spring rolls with tapenade, mackerel nanban-zuke Kyoto style, small shrimp with tomato, cucumber and mint-scented tabbouleh
  • Seasonal potage (available as add-on at lunch for +¥600)
  • Choice of main:
    • Spiced roast lamb leg, morel mushrooms and Madeira sauce
    • Grilled sea bass, braised cabbage and bacon, Manganji pepper sauce

The Pastry Boutique (2F) is selling three mango-centered sweets, each showcasing the fruit in a different way.

  • Mango Roll Cake – sponge rolled with mango purée cream, topped with fresh apple mango and Chantilly cream
  • Mango Pudding – smooth mango purée pudding layered with coconut-flavored jelly, fresh mango and mango sauce
  • Mango Tart – crisp tart shell filled with mango cream and light mango mousse, topped with fresh mango, mint, and gold leaf

Touzan Bar – Summer Cocktail Selection

Touzan Bar (Garden Floor) is offering a "Summer Cocktail Selection" of four cocktails and two mocktails, pairing summer fruits with Japanese ingredients such as shiso, sudachi, and house-made whisky umeshu.
