Tokyo Midtown (Akasaka, Minato-ku, operated by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.) is expanding its dining lineup with three new additions in summer 2026. The highlight is Instant Classic by WCB, a directly-operated beer restaurant from Shizuoka-based craft beer brand West Coast Brewing (WCB) — opening as WCB's third Tokyo location and its largest directly-operated restaurant to date. Alongside it, Kayanoya launches a new seasonal dashi cuisine concept, and honey lifestyle brand Tamitu returns for a limited-time pop-up.

West Coast Brewing, the Shizuoka-born craft beer brand, brings its largest directly-operated restaurant to Tokyo Midtown. The menu centers on Tex-Mex cuisine — burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and other meat-forward specialty dishes crafted to pair with craft beer. The restaurant carries up to 16 varieties of house-brewed beer, along with an opening-commemorative original brew. A takeout counter also offers canned beer to go — including gift options — making it a versatile destination from lunch through dinner.

Kayanoya's New Seasonal Dashi Cuisine Concept

Kayanoya, known for its Japanese condiments including the popular "Kayanoya Dashi," has opened a new restaurant focused on seasonal dashi dishes. With the theme of "dashi cuisine that follows the seasons," the menu evolves throughout the year. For summer, the featured dish is a cold "Dashi-ae Noodles" — guests choose their preferred dashi to dress over noodles, creating a dish where umami shines even when served cold. Toppings include slow-cooked beef, steamed chicken, and colorful vegetables.
In autumn, warm dashi-ae noodles are planned; in winter, a nabe hot pot; and in spring, dishes celebrating new-growth seasonal flavors.

The signature cold-soluble "Herbal Honey," blended with herbs and spices, is available in its classic flavors alongside the summer seasonal "Herbal Honey Citrus" and a citrus-based confiture — both making their advance debut here. The shop also carries Tamitu's original granola blend and drip coffee.

The adjacent Tamitu Cafe lets guests customize a "Tamitu Soda" by picking their preferred Herbal Honey variety, alongside soft-serve ice cream and the pop-up-exclusive "Tamitu Sundae."
