Calbee and World Party Co., Ltd. — the company behind umbrella brand Wpc. — have launched a first-ever collaboration featuring JagaRico-themed umbrellas. Three items are available: a vinyl umbrella and two foldable parasols, each incorporating characters and motifs from the beloved JagaRico snack.
The collaboration was inspired by the shared concept of "easy to carry" — JagaRico, originally designed in 1995 as a snack that girls could slip into their bags, and Wpc.'s lightweight, compact foldable umbrellas that fit neatly inside a bag. All three items feature Jagao and Rikako, the father and mother characters from the JagaRico character family.
The Wpc. official online shop and Wpc. directly operated stores began carrying the items from April 1, 2026, with other retailers following on May 1, 2026.

About Wpc. Parasols
All colors in the Wpc. parasol lineup use fabric with UV block rate 100%, light block rate 100%, and UPF50+*, effectively blocking strong summer sunlight. The black polyurethane coating on the underside of the umbrella reduces light reflection and glare. As a sun and rain umbrella, it can also be used in sudden rain showers.
UV block rate and light block rate are measured values of the fabric under JIS L 1925 and JIS L 1055 Method A standards, respectively. These values represent the fabric alone and do not indicate the performance of the umbrella as a whole. Embroidery, stitching, and other non-UV-processed parts are not included.
