Le Café de Joël Robuchon at Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. has announced an extension of its popular summer dessert, the "Peach Parfait with a Hint of Verveine." Originally available from July 15 to August 31, 2026, the parfait will now be served through September 13, 2026, with only 20 servings available each day.
A guest favorite every year, the parfait makes generous use of a whole peach, showcasing its texture, aroma, and flavor to the fullest. The fragrant, juicy peach is prepared three ways — fresh, sorbet, and compote — and layered with a sweet-tart raspberry gelée and a refreshing verveine blancmange. A peach compote is tucked at the very bottom of the glass, so the flavors build with every spoonful. The parfait is finished with a light meringue, a delicate sugar tuile, and a heart-shaped chocolate plate bearing the café's logo.
