Kamakura Beniya Pop-Up Opens at Daimaru Shinsaibashi - Limited Edition Lilac Kurumikko Tin Available
March 18 (Wed) to 24 (Tue) - Daimaru Shinsaibashi Main Building B1F Event Space
Kamakura Beniya, famous for their beloved Kurumikko sweets, will open a special pop-up shop at Daimaru Shinsaibashi to commemorate the department store's 300th anniversary.
Kamakura Beniya was founded in 1954 in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura. The confectionery shop prioritizes the feelings that come after enjoying delicious sweets. The pop-up will feature classic products including "Kurumikko," "Ajisai," and "Kamakuradayori," along with exclusive items such as the limited-design "Kurumikko 10-Piece Tin (Lilac)" and "Kurumi to Pai - Kurumikko Caramel Sauce," a reconstructed version of Kurumikko in pie form.

Kurumikko 10-Piece Tin (Lilac) - ¥2,160 (tax included)
The 2026 limited-edition tin features a romantic lilac color inspired by the purple flowers that bloom in spring, creating an elegant atmosphere with a sweet undertone.
Note: Limited to 2 tins per customer (combined limit with standard Kurumikko 10-Piece Tin in brown). Available while supplies last. Contains honey, not suitable for infants under 1 year old.
Featured Products
Kamakuradayori 6-Piece Set (Plain, Azuki, Matcha - 2 pieces each) - ¥594 (tax included)
Three varieties of fragrant sablés express the atmosphere of Kamakura. "Plain" features butter and honey, "Azuki" uses Tokachi azuki beans to represent the colors of Kamakura-bori lacquerware, and "Matcha" incorporates Nishio matcha to evoke the young ginkgo leaves. Enjoy the light texture and subtle sweetness.
Note: "Plain" variety contains honey, not suitable for infants under 1 year old.

Ajisai 3-Piece Set - ¥496 (tax included)
Inspired by rusk, this original confection features sliced butter cake thoroughly soaked in condensed milk sauce and slowly baked. Enjoy the mellow milk flavor.

Kurumi to Pai - Kurumikko Caramel Sauce 4-Piece Set (4 pies, 4 caramel sauce packets of 5g each) - ¥891 (tax included)
Crispy pies topped with generous amounts of walnuts, served with Kurumikko caramel sauce that recreates the flavor of the original Kurumikko. Add the sauce to taste and enjoy.
