Kamakura Prince Hotel Serves Christmas Afternoon Tea With Tree and Snowman Sweets From November 17, 2026

Kamakura Prince Hotel (1-2-18 Shichirigahama-higashi, Kamakura, Kanagawa) will serve a "Christmas Afternoon Tea" (クリスマスアフタヌーンティー) from Tuesday, November 17 to Friday, December 25, 2026. The tea is designed to be enjoyed with all five senses.

The sweets take their motifs from Christmas symbols such as Christmas trees, snowmen, Santa Claus, and ornaments, so that eating through the tea stand feels like opening Christmas presents one by one. The tea stand includes a Christmas tree made of pistachio mousse with berries hidden inside, coated in white chocolate. Other sweets are decorated with snowmen and ornaments, and one dessert is styled to recall a snow globe.

The savories feature warm dishes suited to the winter season, such as onion gratin soup and stuffed cabbage rolls, and the menu is balanced with the sweets in mind. A wine pairing is also available as an option.

Guests dine in a space that feels like visiting a residence in the old capital of Kamakura, looking out through the windows at the calm sea.
