Kamakura Prince Hotel (1-2-18 Shichirigahama-higashi, Kamakura, Kanagawa) will begin selling a new "Solo Photo Wedding Plan" on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The plan focuses on self-celebration, or spending to celebrate oneself.
In recent years, values around weddings and life events have diversified, and more people want to mark life milestones and cherished feelings in a way that suits them. The Solo Photo Wedding Plan was created for those who want to capture "not someday, but the me of today" beautifully.
The plan is a photo package for people with wishes such as:
- "I want a photo with myself as the star, as a treat for myself."
- "I want to commemorate myself at my most beautiful right now."
- "I want to be photographed with goods from my favorite 'oshi' or with items full of memories."
- "I'm not having a wedding, but I want a photo of myself in the dress I've always admired."
At a chapel overlooking the Shonan sea, guests can wear a full-fledged dress and have a special photo taken. A self-commemorative shoot is only one of many ways to enjoy the plan. Plan Details
Overview
Only one meeting is needed before the shoot. A dedicated staff member offers careful guidance based on each guest's wishes, from choosing the outfit to discussing the image for the shoot. With a simple schedule that keeps preparation to a minimum, the plan is designed to be easy to use even for busy people.
Shooting Location
Shoots take place at the chapel Marine Mariage, which overlooks the Shonan sea. In addition to shooting in the chapel with the sea seen through large windows as a backdrop, guests can capture a variety of scenes using the hotel's locations, such as the spiral staircase inside the hotel.
Features
Shoots take place at a chapel with a panoramic sea view. Guests can wear a full-fledged dress and bring along their favorite items (bringing items is free of charge).
