Kinokuniya's popular katsu sandwich series is welcoming a new addition: the Ham Katsu Sand. Starting June 15 (Monday), the sandwich will be available at Kinokuniya stores, featuring a thick-cut ham cutlet made exclusively from approximately 10mm-thick pork ham, breaded in fresh panko for a light, crispy finish.
The renewed Chicken Katsu Sand, relaunched in May, is also currently on sale alongside the new arrival.

The Ham Katsu Sand uses a thick-cut ham made exclusively from pork, approximately 10mm thick, fried in fresh panko breadcrumbs for a light, crispy texture. The ham cutlet is dipped in Kinokuniya's original special sauce and sandwiched between slices of bread.
The combination delivers a crisp, airy bite alongside the full umami of ham and the depth of the special sauce — a nostalgic flavor available for a limited time.

The popular Chicken Katsu Sand was relaunched in May to better highlight the quality of its ingredients, now featuring breast meat from "Hanamidori," a branded chicken from Kyushu.
The tender, delicately flavored Hanamidori breast meat is prepared as an easy-to-eat cutlet, then finished with a special sauce — Kinokuniya's original katsu sandwich sauce enhanced with mustard. The sandwich balances the chicken's natural umami with a pleasant mustard accent.
