World Insect Exhibition Returns for Summer Break

The World Insect Exhibition, featuring 24 species of live insects, will run from July 30 (Thursday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026. Visitors can get up close with an impressively large Hercules beetle and try their hand at specimen-making, a popular activity for summer homework projects.
As a new addition this year designed to engage all five senses, the exhibition will showcase surprising species such as scorpions that glow eerily under UV light in the dark, and the Shiroheri Ootsunokanabun, a large horned flower beetle that emits a peach-scented pheromone once mature.
