Kisosansen Park Center, part of the National Kisosansen Park in Kaizu, Gifu, is holding "Autumn Flower Story" from Saturday, September 19 through Tuesday, November 3.
From mid-September to late October, around 330,000 cosmos and cosmos sulphureus flowers across eight varieties fill the park with autumn color. This year, the large flower bed is designed with yellow and orange cosmos sulphureus, while the promenade flower beds are planted with pink and white cosmos, arranged by variety. A lineup of markets, stage performances, and hands-on events also takes place, mainly on weekends.

A market event where visitors can shop for dog goods and enjoy a variety of food truck cuisine. The event also includes activities to promote better dog-walking manners, along with opportunities for dog owners to exchange information and connect with one another.

Dates: October 10 (Saturday), 11 (Sunday), and 12 (Monday, a national holiday)
30 food trucks set up each day, along with street performances, inflatable play equipment, and a stamp rally, offering both food and fun for visitors.

A handmade market featuring handcrafted items such as sundries and accessories.

Learn About the Hōreki Flood Control Works Through Kamishibai
A picture-story show (kamishibai) by a picture-book author from Kaizu City offers a fun, easy way to learn about the history of the Hōreki flood control works.
