TryHard Japan Inc. (a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed TryHard Holdings Limited, ticker: THH), in collaboration with the Kuragaike Park Mirai Project Joint Venture, will host the second edition of its participatory lantern release event, "Kuragaike Park Sky Lantern Vol. 2," on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Kuragaike Park Lawn Plaza.
This event marks the second installment of the sky lantern experience that made its successful debut in 2025, earning high praise from attendees.
In response to last year's overwhelming response, this year's event has been updated and expanded, with an increased number of sky lanterns available, allowing more visitors to participate in illuminating the Kuragaike Park night sky.
Last Year's Popular Participatory Lantern Release Event
The inaugural Vol. 1 event in 2025 welcomed over 1,000 visitors, primarily families and couples.
The experience of writing wishes on lanterns and releasing them into the night sky together drew numerous comments such as "It became a special day we'll remember." The event's safe design featuring LED light sources and string-attached recovery lanterns (no fire used) combined with environmental considerations also received high evaluation.
Vol. 2 Returns with Expanded Scale
Building on last year's success, this year's event will feature an increased number of sky lanterns, enabling more attendees to participate. While lantern tickets sold out quickly last year, demonstrating high interest, this edition will offer 500 lanterns for sale, with advance ticket purchase required for participation.
