The SAKURA WINE FESTIVAL 2026 is set to take place at Yaba Park (矢場公園) in Nagoya's Naka Ward from April 3 to 5, 2026. This year's festival introduces a new gamification feature called SAKE QUEST, which works in conjunction with the official event app "Sake Fes Guide."
What Is SAKE QUEST?
SAKE QUEST is a venue-roaming initiative built into the official app "Sake Fes Guide." By completing various in-app quests, attendees can earn additional coins redeemable for wine tastings and food purchases. The feature is designed to go beyond simply drinking wine — it adds a playful element that encourages visitors to discover new wines and explore different areas of the venue.
Quest Examples
Drink Comparison Quest
These quests are themed around the color or production region of wine. Attendees can earn coins by tasting specific wines, such as rosé, or by sampling wines from different regions like Japan, Europe, and the New World.
Venue Action Quest
Beyond wine tasting, coins can also be earned through other in-venue actions — such as scanning a QR code at a garbage station when disposing of trash, or following an SNS account.
