La Maison du Chocolat, the luxury chocolate house founded in Paris in 1977, is bringing out its Winter Collection 2026, a seasonal lineup that carries forward the maison's tradition and Parisian spirit while speaking to contemporary tastes.
Starting August 27, the collection opens with Marron Glacé, the maison's chestnut-based signature that has long marked the arrival of autumn. From early October, it is followed by Effervescence, built around the aromas of Champagne, and Maroni, a chestnut mousse chocolate scented with rum. All three arrive in sequence at La Maison du Chocolat boutiques nationwide and the online boutique, each bringing its own character to the season that carries from autumn into the winter holidays.
Marron Glacé: The Signature Taste of Autumn

Marron Glacé is a seasonal signature that returns every year to a loyal following. Chestnuts from Turin are slowly candied in a vanilla-infused syrup, then glazed immediately after that process finishes, bringing out the chestnut's natural richness alongside a moist, smooth texture.
Because the recipe itself is simple, the quality of the ingredients and the skill behind each piece stand out all the more. Candied one by one, it reflects the craftsmanship the maison has carried through the years — as much a treat to savor slowly at home as a seasonal gift for someone special.

Effervescence: The Sparkle of Champagne in Chocolate

Effervescence takes Champagne, a drink synonymous with the holiday season, and translates it into chocolate through La Maison du Chocolat's own sensibility. Two ganaches capture the distinct character of Brut and Rosé Champagne: the Rosé Champagne ganache is soft and delicate, balancing the elegant aroma and fruity notes of rosé, while the Brut Champagne ganache pairs the deep cacao flavor of dark chocolate with the crisp, lingering finish of brut Champagne. Together they bring a light, bubbly feel and a festive finish suited to the celebratory season.

Maroni: Chestnut Mousse with a Hint of Rum

Maroni wraps a creamy chestnut mousse lightly scented with rum in milk and dark chocolate, a seasonal treat built for autumn into winter. The chestnut's gentle sweetness, the rich aroma of rum, and the smooth melt of the chocolate come together in every bite.
Milk and dark chocolate each bring out a different side of the chestnut, making it a piece worth comparing side by side — a fitting choice for a holiday teatime or as a gift for someone special.
