At La Maison du Chocolat, Christmas this year looks a little different from usual. In place of a Christmas tree, a chandelier made of chocolate takes the spotlight, its slightly tilted form drawing the eye and adding a festive touch to the table. The lineup also includes a Bûche de Noël, an advent calendar, a bouchée for sharing, and a number of special coffrets.
The 2026 Christmas Collection, "Vertiges," invites visitors into a fantastical world of beauty and surprise. It is a Christmas by La Maison du Chocolat for anyone who loves beautiful things, delicious things, and experiences that stir the heart.
Exclusive Recipes of the Collection
This year, two limited recipes make their debut: Ganache Vietnam and Praliné Épices.
Ganache Vietnam
A ganache made with dark chocolate from Vietnam. A moderate acidity and a woody aroma spread across the palate, leaving a rich cacao finish.
Praliné Épices
An almond and hazelnut praliné combined with orange and Christmas spices. It offers a bright citrus aroma and a lingering spiciness.
Lustre Vertiges

Lustre Vertiges is a bold creation that puts a chandelier at the center of the Christmas dinner table. Its form leans as if time had stopped in the middle of a movement, and its delicate curves and decorations evoking countless crystals catch the eye of everyone who sees it.
Just as a single object can completely change the impression of a space, Nicolas Cloiseau, a chef, pâtissier and chocolatier who also holds the M.O.F. (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) distinction, has turned the chandelier that symbolizes the salon into the star of Christmas. The result is an elegant yet bold work that resembles a piece of art.
Making and assembling it by hand takes about 40 hours, and it is built from 220 parts. Dark chocolate with a cacao content of 56% or more is used. The piece consists of a coupole with about 3,300 delicate openwork patterns, 96 rhombus-shaped parts, and 24 decorative chains of chocolate balls in 5 different sizes, and it is finished with 24-karat gold leaf.

A bouchée praliné inspired by the decorations and lines of the "Vertiges" collection. Its delicate chocolate ornaments stand out beautifully, giving it the look of an objet or a jewel. Inside is an almond and hazelnut praliné combined with Christmas spices and crêpe dentelle.
With a presence that seems to spill over the plate, it can be shared with others or enjoyed as a personal indulgence.

At first glance, it looks like a single illustration. Look closely, however, and the suspended rings, the decoration that makes use of perspective, and a world carefully built down to the finest detail through illustrations by Alex & Marine begin to emerge. Behind each of the 24 doors, a popular praline from La Maison du Chocolat or a Christmas-limited chocolate awaits.
It is an advent calendar for tasting one chocolate a day and slowly enjoying the time leading up to Christmas.
The assortment includes dark or milk pralines, carrés, and Christmas-limited fritures, among others.

Christmas Coffrets Vertiges (Coffrets de Noël)

The coffrets tell the story of the collection from the moment they are picked up. Drawn by Alex & Marine, the design shows a fantastical Parisian interior with a deep green background scattered with the glow of mandarin orange. Gold perspective lines stretch out, chandeliers line up one after another, and the decoration seems to continue endlessly. It looks like a stage set, yet a whole world unfolds within it. As the eye travels, pillars, arches, cacao pods, and chocolate ornaments appear in a rich composition that feels almost hypnotic.
Inside the coffrets are chocolates representing La Maison du Chocolat, along with two new creations exclusive to 2026: a Vietnamese ganache noire and a praline with orange and Christmas spices.
The collection goes beyond a simple assortment of chocolates, offering a touch of vertigo (vertiges) as a gift.
