Cath Kidston, the British lifestyle brand operated by Styling Life Holdings Inc. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), and Ladurée — the iconic Parisian patisserie founded in 1862 and widely regarded as the birthplace of the modern macaron — are releasing a special collaboration collection. The lineup includes four styles across six items: book bags, pouches, and handkerchiefs. Pre-orders begin April 3, 2026 (Friday) at the Cath Kidston Nishi-Ginza store and the official Cath Kidston online store (https://cathkidston.jp/), with nationwide release scheduled from early June. Customers who pre-order collaboration items totaling ¥10,000 (tax included) or more will receive a compact mirror as a limited-quantity gift.
On the Ladurée side, an afternoon tea menu inspired by the collaboration and a special macaron box will also be released.
The collection was brought to life by Holly Marler, Cath Kidston's Head of Creative, who hand-drew the artwork celebrating the creativity of both maisons. At its foundation is a Toile de Jouy pattern originally created for Cath Kidston's 30th anniversary — a design that honors the brand's rich print heritage. The pattern intertwines macarons and Ladurée's iconic pastry "Saint-Honoré Rose Framboise" with botanicals and icing frills, all rendered in more than 20 hours of detailed hand-drawn illustration. Motifs from Cath Kidston's archive — paint palettes, easels, and rolls of fabric — are woven throughout, celebrating the brand's artisanal legacy. The effect is reminiscent of a leisurely springtime picnic: nostalgic, warm, and full of quiet joy.
