LEGOLAND Japan Resort, which aims to become Japan's top kids' resort, will hold "Christmas Night," its last night event of 2026, for two days only on December 18 (Friday) and 19 (Saturday). Each seasonal night event offers three kinds of content: a special show, a limited workshop supervised by a LEGOLAND Japan model builder, and a specially arranged limited activity. Around 30 attractions also stay open after dark, and light-up items that kids love will be on sale.
A Special Night Event for Each Season
Night events let visitors experience a world completely different from the daytime park. After regular closing time, the park stays open until 9:00 PM. In 2026, the seasonal events are "Sakura Night," "Matsuri Night," "Halloween Night" and "Christmas Night." Parents and children can enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary time and space together and create seasonal memories, which has made these events very popular.

Christmas Night Special Show
Themed around "a special night unfolding inside a snow globe," this Christmas-filled lighting show features LEGOLAND Japan characters such as Santa Claus and the Gingerbread Man. Against the backdrop of a Christmas tree about 10 m tall made from approximately 610,000 LEGO DUPLO bricks, visitors can sing and dance along with the characters to Christmas songs while the whole venue is wrapped in a festive mood.
Time: Approximately 8:15 PM
Venue: Factory Area
Nikaido-san's Special Night Workshop
Mitsuru Nikaido, a LEGOLAND Japan model builder, has been highly praised for LEGO brick works modeled on living creatures. He was selected twice, in 2020 and 2025, as an "outstanding builder," a title given to only a dozen or so builders worldwide. For Christmas Night, he supervises a limited workshop themed "a reindeer running across a snowfield."
The reindeer faithfully recreates its big antlers and sturdy build with delicate detailing, and it stands on two legs without a base, reflecting Nikaido's technique and ideas. After building it, participants can adjust the direction of the neck and legs to give it a favorite pose and take a commemorative family photo.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes
Venue: LEGO Creative Workshop / Rebuild the World Center
*Same-day reservation (limited capacity)
Find the Elves Hidden in Miniland!
Miniland recreates Japanese cities and landmarks with more than 10 million LEGO bricks. It is beautifully illuminated and is one of the most popular spots at night events. During Christmas Night, visitors can take part in an activity in the sparkling Miniland, searching for three types of elves in different sizes. Those who find them receive an original-design smartphone wallpaper that can be downloaded from the official website. Visitors can enjoy the night view as if stepping into a storybook world during this special two-day Christmas experience.
