During the hours leading up to the fireworks, the event offers hands-on workshops that bring guests closer to the charm of "Monozukuri Town Sumida." Mini folding-screen making, origami crane folding, and a glass pen experience let visitors get a feel for the area's traditions and artisan culture. The "Sumida Retro Café Corner" also serves Coffee Float and Cream Soda, drinks tied to the old-town's retro café culture, along with "fruit ice" made by shaving frozen strawberries — bringing a lively summer touch to the event.

The festival is open only to hotel guests. It is designed for domestic travelers looking to enjoy a Japanese summer, as well as the growing number of inbound visitors, offering a traditional Japanese summer tradition in a prime location with attentive hospitality. NACAMURA, a bookbinding company with roots in origami paper-cutting techniques, has created the origami paper brand "ORIGAMI FOR CRANE," which will be used in an origami crane-folding experience at the festival. Directed by artist Riko Takahashi, the paper features striking stripe and dot patterns. Guests can enjoy folding each crane carefully by hand while getting a feel for Japanese traditional culture.

Kogane-yu Craft Beer with a Special Hotel Collaboration Label (in Collaboration with Kogane-yu)

Kogane-yu, a popular public bathhouse in Sumida City, brews "BATHE YOTSUME BREWERY" craft beer, which will be served at Sumida Ennichi in a limited-quantity "Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho collaboration label." It's a drink to enjoy while taking in the festival, or while looking up at the fireworks.
