(Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Masato Tanaka) will hold its second pop-up event as part of its sustainable social contribution activities "MELROSE THINK." from January 10 (Saturday) to January 14 (Wednesday), 2026, at Lumine Shinjuku Lumine 1 2F "Gallery1." "MELROSE THINK." uses the tagline "Every time you think, the world changes." and aims to "focus on the act of 'thinking,' carry and pass on opportunities to think through sustainability and fashion." This pop-up will propose diverse themes such as social contribution, environmental consideration, and waste reduction through product displays and project introductions, providing visitors with an opportunity to "think."

Event Content

The venue is divided into the following three zones:

◇ "SUSTAINABLE THINK.": Think about social contribution and environmental consideration through "products"

Features selected brands carefully chosen for their commitment to sustainability and ethics. Items will be introduced that contribute to social welfare and environmental consideration through purchase.

<Selected Brands>

  • Coco&K.: Bags made by upcycling finished aluminum juice packs, born from the activities of an NGO working on environmental issues in the Philippines. Fair trade products aimed at contributing to environmental, employment, and educational issues.

  • RICCI EVERYDAY: A workshop in Uganda where people isolated from society (single mothers, former child soldiers, etc.) become "creators," producing bags and miscellaneous goods using African prints. Supports independence through work and provides a place to work with pride.

  • KAPOK KNOT: A Japanese fashion brand that achieves both "sustainability" and "functionality/design." Proposes comfortable wear and lifestyle items while considering the environment and animal welfare.

  • Adam: A sustainable material brand born in Aomori's Tsugaru region, developing new materials and products utilizing apple pomace (peel, seeds, stems, etc.) that would otherwise be discarded.

  • OLDFLIP: A Japanese brand and business centered on sustainable fashion and vintage clothing culture. Rather than just a fashion brand, it's a project/business centered on the philosophy of "eliminating waste by extending the lifecycle of clothing." Also develops "zivun," a one-of-a-kind remade vintage clothing brand.

  • COME SACK: An original brand developed by Kitanihon Seibukuro Co., Ltd. in Iwate Prefecture. Using technology originally developed for manufacturing resin bags (polypropylene/polyethylene) for transporting rice and wheat, they create daily goods and bags using bag materials.

  • KATOKOA mamoru: A brand aimed at "raising interest in endangered species and environmental issues through everyday goods." Uses Japan's endangered wild animals and creatures as design subjects, conveying their situation through products. A portion of sales is donated to the Wildlife Conservation Fund of the Japan Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

◇ "Down's Town" "GREEN PROJECT": Melrose's sustainable initiatives

  • "Down's Town Project": Through products incorporating art by people with Down syndrome as designs, promotes their talents to society and supports the realization of a society where diverse individuality shines.

  • "GREEN PROJECT": An activity that collects clothes customers no longer use and promotes recycling. Currently a project aimed at circular fashion that produces upcycled cotton and manufactures products in our own brands.
