A new carbonated drink from Asahi Soft Drinks is set to arrive on shelves on March 17: Mitsuya Ultra Strong Lemon. Described as the sourest lemon flavor ever released under the Mitsuya brand, the drink packs 8,100mg of citric acid (in the 600ml bottle) and a full day's worth of Vitamin C into a strong carbonated format.

The beverage combines an intensely sour lemon taste with strong carbonation for a refreshing drinking experience. It also contains 0.19g of sodium per 100ml, making it a suitable option for hydration and heat stroke prevention.
The packaging centers on the Mitsuya brand's signature arrow-feather motif alongside a lemon illustration. The citric acid content and the phrase "most sour ever" are prominently featured, making the drink's character clear at a glance.
The Mitsuya brand, with a history of over 140 years, operates under the brand purpose "Move your heart.", with the goal of being the most heart-moving carbonated beverage and a beloved, sustainable brand.
