MOOOSH SQUISHY (モッシュスクイーシー), a squishy specialty shop popular both in Japan and overseas, has opened a limited-time store at Chubu Centrair International Airport (Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture). Located on the Renga-dori (Brick Street) on the 4th floor of Terminal 1, the store is open from March 26, 2026 (Thursday) through July 29, 2026 (Wednesday). This is the brand's first location in the Chubu region.
Grand Opening: Packed from the First Day
On opening day, rare Sanrio squishies and other hard-to-find items were an immediate hit, drawing large crowds from the moment the store opened. The colorful and cute lineup had shoppers smiling and excited throughout the day.
What Are Squishies?
Squishies are soft, squishy novelty items enjoyed for their tactile appeal. They first became a trend among elementary and middle school girls around 2014.
