Morozof Co., Ltd. (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) is bringing back its limited-edition "Cream Rich Cheesecake" (クリームリッチチーズケーキ) from May 1 (Friday).
Originally launched in 2024 to mark the 55th anniversary of the popular "Cream Cheese Cake," the "Cream Rich Cheesecake" received strong praise and is now returning for another limited run. It will be available at fresh confectionery stores nationwide through late July.

The cheesecake is made with Arla BUKO cream cheese — a brand holding the Danish Royal Warrant — combined with fresh cream from Hokkaido. The interior is baked to a smooth, meltingly creamy consistency. Milky white chocolate and vanilla sourced from Madagascar add a rich, milk-forward depth that distinguishes this version from Morozof's standard lineup.

Morozof first launched its "Cream Cheese Cake" in 1969, at a time when cheesecake was not yet widely known in Japan. In the 1970s, as cheesecake gained attention through magazines and popular culture, demand surged — and Morozof's product became one of the early pioneers of the trend.
Since launch, Morozof has remained committed to using premium Danish cream cheese. Its current flagship "Denmark Cream Cheese Cake" features Arla BUKO, a cream cheese brand with a Danish Royal Warrant.
