Nishitetsu Grand Hotel Renovates "Matsuhana no Ma" Private Room at Japanese Restaurant Matsukaze

The private Japanese-style room "Hana no Ma" at Nishitetsu Grand Hotel's Japanese restaurant Matsukaze has been renovated into a modern yet warm design and renamed "Matsuhana no Ma."

Renovation Overview

1. Expanded Capacity: Up to 30 Guests

The room now accommodates up to 30 guests, making it suitable for corporate dinners, celebrations, and other large gatherings.

2. Flexible Layout

A dividing partition allows "Matsuhana no Ma" to be split into two separate private rooms — "Hana no Ma" (up to 20 guests) and "Matsu no Ma" (up to 10 guests) — making it easier for smaller groups holding events such as betrothal ceremonies, celebrations, and memorial services.

3. Comfortable Chair-and-Table Seating

The room has been converted from the original sunken kotatsu-style floor seating to chair-and-table seating, offering a more accessible and comfortable dining experience for elderly guests and for extended meals.

Dimmable lighting has also been installed, allowing the atmosphere to be adjusted to suit different occasions.

Special Commemorative Course

To mark the renovation of "Matsuhana no Ma," a special commemorative course is being offered for a limited time, featuring seasonal ingredients including live kuruma prawn, kinmedai (golden eye snapper), crab, and clam prepared in a hourakunabe style.
