A new relaxation destination will open in Ibaraki Prefecture this November. "Ofuro Cafe Rinne no Yu" (hereafter referred to as Rinne no Yu), the 13th location of the Ofuro Cafe brand operated by Onsen-Dojo Co., Ltd. (Tokigawa-machi, Hiki-gun, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Toshiki Yamazaki), will open on November 29, 2025, within THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rinne (The Botanical Resort Rinne).
THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rinne is a renovation of the Ibaraki Botanical Garden and Ibaraki Prefectural Forest, which have been in operation for over 40 years. It will reopen on November 29, 2025, as Japan's first "overnight experiential botanical garden," combining the elements of "staying," "interacting with nature," and "learning."
Rinne no Yu is a long-stay day-trip hot spring facility. It features separate men's and women's large baths, co-ed saunas for families and couples, a café serving meals and sweets made with local ingredients, a book lounge, a kids' room, and other spaces where visitors can relax throughout the day. The facility will also be available to guests staying at the botanical garden.
