Okayama Prefecture, known as the "Land of Sunshine," is blessed with abundant nature. In its northern region lies the "Mimasaka Sanyu" (Mimasaka Three Hot Springs), a renowned hot spring area that has been cherished by hot spring enthusiasts for centuries.

Located in northern Okayama Prefecture, "Mimasaka Sanyu" consists of "Yubara," "Okutsu," and "Yunogo", three hot spring destinations boasting exceptional history and water quality in western Japan. The three hot spring areas and their surrounding regions attract approximately 1 million visitors annually (according to the 2024 Okayama Prefecture Tourism Survey). The three springs have been designated as National Health Hot Springs by the Ministry of the Environment, a testament to their high-quality waters. The three hot spring areas offer numerous accommodation facilities, each with distinct charms and atmospheres that welcome hot spring enthusiasts from across Japan.

From February 20 (Fri) to 23 (Mon, Holiday), 2026, an event called "Okayama Mimasaka Sanyu Tour" will be held at the second-floor event space of Okayama Prefecture's antenna shop "Tottori-Okayama Shinbashi-kan" in Tokyo's Shinbashi district, offering visitors a chance to experience the appeal of "Mimasaka Sanyu." The entrance features an original noren curtain designed for this event. Beyond it, an "Information Wall" with touch monitors introduces each hot spring area's characteristics along with local cuisine and attractions, while nostalgic hot spring town games like smart ball and shooting galleries are available. Visitors can enjoy content that recreates the atmosphere of a hot spring town right in the heart of Tokyo.

Additionally, special menus featuring local cuisine from each of the three hot spring areas are available, including the "Mimasaka Sanyu Set" where all three varieties can be enjoyed at once. A merchandise corner selling specialty products from the northern Okayama region will also appear. The event offers hands-on content that helps visitors find the hot spring area that suits them best, providing a space to compare and experience the unique characteristics of each spring.

Furthermore, visitors can try capsule toy machines that offer novelty items as prizes. Prizes include bath salts that let you enjoy the Mimasaka Sanyu experience at home, original Okayama Prefecture-patterned hand towels, and other Okayama-related items distributed randomly.
