Two new wagyu sukiyaki pasta dishes are coming to Osaka's Shinsaibashi from September 2025. The dishes feature domestic Japanese Black Wagyu ribeye prepared sukiyaki-style, offering a unique fusion of traditional Japanese flavors and Italian pasta.
Starting Wednesday, September 3, 2025, visitors can enjoy "Wagyu × Pasta" at two locations in Osaka's dining scene.

The dish combines quickly grilled domestic Japanese Black Wagyu ribeye with sweet and savory sukiyaki seasonings, served over specially made chewy fresh pasta that highlights Japanese umami flavors.

Sukiyaki Carbonara (1,980 yen)
This fusion creation merges sukiyaki-seasoned wagyu with carbonara sauce. The sweet and savory grilled ribeye pairs with potto's signature carbonara, enriched with generous amounts of Grana Padano cheese.

The restaurants are known for their commitment to quality, using the rare "Senbon-suji" cut - representing only 0.2% of each cow - to create their signature collagen-rich homemade meat sauce. The slow-cooked sauce delivers intense meat umami flavors. Their original fresh pasta comes in three varieties: classic 2.1mm fresh spaghetti, low-carb fresh spaghetti, and whole wheat fresh spaghetti.
