GRANADA SUITE on À TABLE, a restaurant in Nakasu, Fukuoka operated by Positive Dream Persons Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Teruo Nishimura), has launched "OT SPiCE" as a new restaurant concept starting in 2025. Chef Furumasa of the restaurant travels across Kyushu, expressing inspiration gained from the land's nature, producers, and landscapes through his cuisine.
The second edition brings a collaboration with Eminas Farm, a strawberry farm in Mashiki Town, Kumamoto. On February 11 (Wed/National Holiday), a one-day limited buffet event featuring "Meat x Strawberries" will be held. Following that, from March 25 (Wed) to March 27 (Fri), a "Strawberry x Cherry Blossom Dessert Buffet" will offer two opportunities to fully enjoy strawberries delivered from the land of Mashiki.

What is OT SPiCE?

on À TABLE Chef Furumasa Masakazu visits various locations across Kyushu with his own feet, expressing what he experiences in different lands through his cuisine, with a focus on producers and regions.
Taking on À TABLE = OT and capturing the connections with nature, ingredients, and people encountered as "SPICE = stimulus that makes cooking interesting," Furumasa expresses the stimulation and inspiration he receives on-site through his dishes. The aim is to shine light on Kyushu's ingredients and producers from the Fukuoka restaurant and connect them to customers through cuisine.
GRANADA SUITE on À TABLE - Chef Furumasa Masakazu

Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1986. Joined the company in 2013 and was assigned to the kitchen during the grand opening of The Marcus Square Fukuoka. After establishing the company's first two restaurant-focused stores, he transferred to on À TABLE in 2021. Currently serving as General Manager and handling kitchen duties, he is a chef who values visiting producers with his own feet, feeling the climate and atmosphere of the land, and incorporating these elements into his menu.
The Encounter with Eminas Farm Strawberries Born from Temperature Differences Between Highlands and Basins
When Furumasa visited his hometown, he encountered strawberries from Eminas Farm. Strongly attracted by their rich flavor, he directly visited representative Mr. Shimamura and toured the strawberry cultivation site.
Despite being in his mid-30s, Mr. Shimamura did not grow up as a strawberry farmer. He studied regional revitalization at university and approaches agriculture with a clear intention: "I want to spread the goodness of Mashiki" and "I want to contribute to the region through my work."
Furumasa was deeply impressed by the representative himself standing in the greenhouse daily, carefully observing the strawberry conditions, and his commitment to quality by using groundwater instead of agricultural water. He resonated with Mr. Shimamura's philosophy of wanting to convey the region's charm through ingredients and his serious attitude toward the region and customers, leading to this collaboration.
Eminas Farm

An experiential farm operated by "Aso Kumamoto Airport Hotel Eminas," which runs resort hotels. In greenhouses covering 6,730 square meters, they currently cultivate 35,000 plants of five strawberry varieties: "Benihoppe," "Hinoshizuku," "Sagahonoka," "Koiminori," and "Yayoihime." The strawberries grown with the temperature difference between day and night unique to Mashiki Town, where highlands and basins coexist, are characterized by large and sweet fruits.
In recent years, the farm has also cultivated grapes, collaborating with Kikuka Wine in Kumamoto to produce "Mashiki Wine."
