PAPABUBBLE, known for its handcrafted candy and "Craft Candy Theater" experience, has launched the second installment of its PAPABUBBLE arty series — a creative sub-line where artisans' imaginative ideas are turned into candy. The new collection, featuring "edible rings" made entirely from candy, went on sale at all PAPABUBBLE stores nationwide and on the official website on March 5.
Having celebrated 20 years of making candy by hand, PAPABUBBLE channeled the PAPABUBBLE arty line as a way to return to its roots and push beyond conventional candy boundaries. The concept brings to life motifs that spark excitement and a desire to share — transformed by skilled hands into beautiful, delicious candy.
10 Playful Designs Selected from Over 100 Ideas
For this second collection, all 26 of PAPABUBBLE's candy artisans participated, collectively submitting more than 100 design ideas. The final 10 designs were chosen through an internal contest, reflecting each artisan's skill and creativity. The lineup includes intricate designs built on years of accumulated technique, forms made uniquely possible by the ring shape, and even a piece with a humorous nod toward dental health.
All designs are available in limited quantities. Some designs are exclusive to physical stores, while others are only available through the online store.
Each Candy Jewel ring is priced at ¥1,280 (tax included).
