New Characters Make Their First Appearance on Gifts and Sweets
In January 2026, FUJIYA CO., LTD. launched "Peko-chan, Poko-chan and Their Fun Friends," expanding their beloved character lineup. Adorable sweets and merchandise featuring these new characters are now rolling out.
Peko-chan made her debut in 1950 as a storefront figurine for FUJIYA confectionery shops. In 1951, Poko-chan joined her on the "Milky" candy packaging. In 1995, Dog was introduced as a puppy friend of Peko-chan and Poko-chan. After approximately 30 years, a new cast of unique characters has joined the family, debuting in January 2026 as "Peko-chan, Poko-chan and Their Fun Friends."
