PASONA HARBOR STAGE, the offshore art stage that opened this summer on the east coast of Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, is staging an original ballet production titled Riburisu no Hon starting September 5 (Saturday). Guests attending the performance will now be able to take home an "Original Profile Card" featuring words the dancers each hold dear, along with their signatures.
The Original Profile Cards capture the dancers as they truly are, life-size on a single card — a keepsake available only through this production. Guests who also scan the QR code printed on the back of the card, answer a short survey, and follow the official PASONA HARBOR STAGE Instagram account can pick up an exclusive original sticker at the reception desk.
Capping off a day spent on Awaji Island, a graceful ballet performance set to visuals, unfolding gently above the sea, adds a special touch to the memory of the trip. In just 40 minutes, on a stage surrounded by sea and sky unlike anything experienced before, guests can take in the dreamlike story the dancers weave together.

Production, direction, choreography, and starring: Taro Kurachi. After studying in Belgium, Germany, and the United States from 2013 to 2017, he joined Philadelphia Ballet in the United States as a trainee from 2017 to 2019, then joined the Belarusian National Academic Bolshoi Ballet as a principal dancer from 2019 to 2022. He won first place at the Youth America Grand Prix 2017 New York Final and first place at Tanzolymp 2014.

Set on the sea along the east coast of northern Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, PASONA HARBOR STAGE is Japan's only permanent offshore art stage. In its open, waterborne setting, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the Kobe cityscape, and the changing starlight and moonlight all become part of the performance itself.
