PASONA HARBOR STAGE, an offshore art stage that opened this summer on the east coast of Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, is now selling plans that combine a performance ticket with a meal at the restaurants of the stay-focused facility THE PASONA.

PASONA HARBOR STAGE sits on the sea off the east coast of northern Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, and is described as Japan's only permanent offshore art stage. Set in an open location over the water, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the Kobe skyline, and even the changing light of the stars and the moon become part of the staging, and entertainment shows are presented daily. Tickets that bundle a performance ticket with a meal at any of the five restaurants of the adjacent stay-focused facility THE PASONA have now gone on sale.

Guests who are not staying overnight can also dine at THE PASONA's restaurants. The five restaurants are:
- 淡路美月: Produced by 中東久人, fourth-generation head of the Kyoto ryokan restaurant (料理旅館) 美山荘, which earned three Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Kyoto Osaka 2026.
- 淡路東迎: Serves courses built around the five methods of Japanese cooking (和の五法), using carefully selected ingredients from around Japan along with the seasonal bounty of Awaji Island.
- 鮨 美波: Focuses on local fish from the waters around Awaji Island. The chef chooses the cut and style of nigiri best suited to each fish, bringing out the individual character of every piece.
- Terre: Produced by 鍋多光介, who leads Restaurant Sola, a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Paris's 5th arrondissement. It offers wellness gastronomy that blends French esprit with traditional Japanese techniques.
- 淡路宗胡: Produced by 野村大輔, who earned two Michelin stars as the third-generation head chef of the renowned Tokyo shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian) restaurant 醍醐 and later opened 宗胡 SOUGO.
Together, the five restaurants offer a new dining experience centered on caring for oneself.

PASONA HARBOR STAGE is currently presenting the ballet "Libris no Hon" (リブリスの本). Set against views of the sea and sky, the moving story shows how the courage to keep chasing dreams leads to the future, and it can be enjoyed together with a relaxing evening of Awaji cuisine.
