Grand Nikko Awaji (2 Yumebutai, Awaji City, Hyogo) is offering the accommodation plan "Winter Awaji Island Resort Stay with Sparkling Illuminations" from November 14 (Sat), 2026 to January 16 (Sat), 2027. The plan coincides with a special exhibition at the adjacent Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Yumebutai Public Garden Greenhouse "Awaji Green Hall" and with the winter-only event "Illumination in Awaji Yumebutai," which wraps the Awaji Yumebutai area in a fantastical world of light.
The plan includes an admission ticket to the special exhibition "Winter Garden – Sparkling Lights, a Wonderland of Plants from Around the World," which opens at Awaji Green Hall on November 14 (Sat).
At Awaji Green Hall, one of the largest greenhouses in Japan, the symbolic Garden Castle, along with greenery and flowers gathered from around the world, is adorned with beautiful lights. On weekends during the exhibition, events such as swag-making workshops, winter stargazing sessions and Christmas jazz live performances are scheduled.
After sunset, illuminations spread across the entire Awaji Yumebutai area and light up the winter night. From the balcony of the "Panoramic View Room" overlooking Osaka Bay, guests can take in the vividly colored lights and the quiet sea in a single view.
Inside the hotel, Christmas trees and gorgeous decorations create a special space available only this season. As benefits exclusive to this plan, guests receive a free one-rank room upgrade, from a Superior Room to a Deluxe Room or from a Deluxe Room to a Luxury Room, as well as late checkout until 12:00 PM the next day.
Surrounded by this fantastical world of light, the plan offers a special time to spend with someone dear.
