Spring is a season of new beginnings, and the American cookie brand PUG is marking the occasion with pop-up store openings at two new locations across Japan.
PUG will debut in the Chugoku region for the first time at Hiroshima PARCO, running from April 10 to July 31, 2026. A second pop-up will open at Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu from April 17, 2026 through mid-May 2027, giving visitors about a year to enjoy PUG's freshly baked cookies.
The brand's signature Boston Cookie has sold over 330,000 units nationwide and has been generating significant buzz on social media. Each cookie is hand-formed, so no two look exactly alike. Packed with chocolate and nuts, the cookies feature a light crunch on the outside and a chewy, moist interior — a combination that keeps people coming back for more.

PUG draws inspiration from traditional American cookies said to originate in Massachusetts, using rich chocolate and roasted nuts, along with ingredients selected to suit Japanese palates. The result is a cookie that honors the classic American style while offering a fresh and contemporary take.
