Hiroshima T-SITE in Hiroshima City will hold "The 86th Hiroshima Mercato – The Shape of Eating: Sweets Garden" on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026. Hiroshima Mercato aims to be a place that connects producers and consumers and considers the future of food. This time, it joins forces for the first time with Okashi Haku (Sweets Expo), where sweets, a symbol of happiness, gather under one roof. More than 50 vendors from inside and outside the prefecture will take part over the two days, including vegetable growers and makers of bread and sweets.
Visitors can talk directly with the vendors and learn about the thinking behind their ingredients and products at this outdoor food event. The "Sweets Garden" offers a chance to discover and enjoy a variety of foods.
