Seishin Tougei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1-71 Kamimatsuyama-cho, Seto City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Tomoki Iseya) launched the "Ramen Condiment Cultivation Kit" on February 16, 2026. This playful new product features miniature ceramic ramen bowls with a nostalgic Showa-era design, allowing users to grow condiments at home.
The cultivation kit embraces the atmosphere of old-fashioned ramen shops from the Showa era with ceramic mini ramen bowls. The nostalgic and charming design makes it hard to resist picking up.
Due to overwhelming response prior to the official release, the initial production run sold out at the manufacturer level. Additional production is currently underway, with shipments scheduled sequentially.
The cultivation kit is available at retail stores and specialty shops nationwide, as well as through the official Seishin Tougei online shop SEISHIN PLUS+ at https://seishin-plus.ocnk.net/product/558.
Grow Four Different Condiments to Match Your Ramen
This series features four varieties: soy sauce, salt, tantanmen, and miso. Each bowl design, ingredient, and package illustration are coordinated to match the specific ramen flavor profile.

The soy sauce ramen features a classic red ramen bowl design and grows green onions. The package displays an illustration of traditional soy sauce ramen that evokes nostalgia.

The salt ramen comes in a white bowl adorned with a blue dragon in a clean, elegant style. This kit grows mitsuba (Japanese parsley), and the package features a salt ramen illustration.

The tantanmen features an eye-catching black base with white depictions of imaginary birds inspired by imperial crests. This kit grows bok choy, with tantanmen artwork on the package.

The miso ramen comes in a white bowl with yellow lines featuring the thunder pattern and the character for longevity "寿" (kotobuki). This kit grows chili peppers, and the package displays miso ramen artwork.
All varieties share a common feature: they allow you to grow ingredients commonly used in that specific ramen type. The package illustrations clearly show which plant will grow, making it easy to see at a glance.
The ceramic bowls offer an authentic texture, while the condiment plants gradually transform from germination to full growth. Displaying them on a windowsill or desk creates the delightful feeling of running a small "ramen condiment shop." The collectible nature of the series, with different flavors to gather, adds to the product's appeal.

Enjoy "Growing Ramen" in Retro-Style Bowls
All ramen bowls are made of ceramic. Despite their miniature size, they feature carefully crafted glaze textures and patterns that authentically capture the Showa retro atmosphere. Simply placing them in your kitchen or on your desk creates a nostalgically charming ambiance.

Playful Touch with Breakable Chopsticks
The kit includes plastic mini disposable chopsticks that can actually be "snapped" apart, recreating the familiar moment before eating ramen. This playful accessory adds a unique touch that makes people want to share the experience with others, beyond just being a cultivation kit.
Nostalgic Street Ramen Stall Display Box

Since each "Ramen Condiment Cultivation Kit" is compact, a dedicated display box has been created for easy handling at retail stores and attractive grouped displays. The display box features a nostalgic ramen food stall motif. The illustration of ramen bowls lined up on the counter was drawn from scratch, evoking the atmosphere of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant where steam and aroma seem to rise. Simply placing it in the sales area creates a warm, inviting scene that makes shoppers stop in their tracks.
