Ray-Ban Store Kyoto is set to open on Friday, April 3, 2026, as the brand's first location in Kyoto and one of the largest Ray-Ban stores in Japan.
The 270-square-meter store draws on the brand's iconic red and black color palette while weaving in traditional Japanese design elements. Real lava tile flooring expresses the raw beauty of nature, while the red ceiling — both a brand signature and a nod to Japanese aesthetics — adds warmth and character to the space. The examination room is styled after a Japanese garden, with wood-grain interiors and smart dimming smoke glass panels that create a calm, private environment for eye exams.

Near the entrance, a large-scale digital installation made up of hundreds of LED filaments greets visitors with a dynamic, immersive display. The store carries around 1,000 eyewear pieces, displayed on geometric glass fixtures lining the walls, covering the full range from iconic frames to new collections, kids, and optical styles.
Engraving and Maintenance Services

Ray-Ban Store Kyoto introduces an Engraving service, allowing customers to personalize their eyewear or cases on-site using a selection of original icons and fonts. Quick repairs and eyewear cleaning and maintenance services are also available. Until now, these services were only offered at Ray-Ban Store Shibuya in Japan.
Opening Campaign

As an opening campaign, visitors will receive a first-come, first-served gift of an original sticker or a Kyoto-exclusive mini torii gate. Customers who make a purchase will also receive a Kyoto-exclusive Ray-Ban original notebook made with Kyoto Yuzen fabric, along with a free engraving ticket.
