Bar Granada, the main bar at Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, is running a limited-time "Melon Collection" featuring three melon-themed cocktails through June 30, 2026.
The collection brings together three distinct takes on melon, each crafted to evoke the freshness of early summer.
The Melon & Sparkling Wine combines fresh melon's gentle sweetness with the fine bubbles of sparkling wine for a light finish. The fruit's aroma fills the mouth on the first sip, while the clean aftertaste leaves a refreshing impression.
The Frozen Melon Daiquiri uses generous portions of melon, blended to a cool sherbet-like texture. With its smooth mouthfeel and rich fruit flavor, it works equally well as a dessert. In addition to a glass presentation, the cocktail is also available served inside an actual melon—a special style that lets the fruit's natural fragrance and chill come through more directly.
The Melon Matcha Mojito is an original mojito that blends the juicy sweetness of melon with the subtle bitterness of matcha, giving the drink a Japanese-inspired nuance.
