The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto (Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City; General Manager: Takahisa Tomoda) is launching a new "senbero" happy hour at its dining café THE OIKE TERRACE starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The concept offers a refined way to spend the gap between the end of the workday and dinner.
For just 1,000 yen, guests receive two drinks chosen from a seasonal selection — including draft beer, sparkling wine, and non-alcoholic options — along with an amuse-bouche. Whether local residents or office workers in the surrounding area, anyone looking for "a quick drink before dinner" is welcome to drop in.
Optional à la carte dishes are also available to complement the experience. Standouts include slow-cooked gizzard confit with garlic and herbs — tender on the inside with a satisfying bite — and a braised tomato vegetable dish topped with prosciutto and a soft-cooked egg, a natural pairing with wine. Guests who use the senbero set can order additional drinks for 500 yen each.
