A Moon-Viewing Afternoon Tea themed around the harvest moon rising in the autumn night sky makes its debut this year (photo shown serves two).

The afternoon tea opens with an appetizer platter that depicts, in three dishes, a scene of a rabbit pounding mochi under the moon.

At the center of the large steamer sits hanamaki, a soft and chewy Chinese steamed bun, used here for a "moon-viewing burger" sandwiching a hamburger patty in a rich chili sauce with lettuce and egg. Alongside it are a rabbit-shaped gyuhi bun filled with a lightly sweetened bean paste, and milk-flavored moon-viewing dango, together bringing the moon-viewing theme to life.

Around the steamer sit dim sum built around autumn's flavors.

The lineup includes xiaolongbao generously filled with Shanghai crab roe; shrimp dumplings shaped to resemble spiky chestnut burs, topped with a chestnut; and steamed dumplings molded into an adorable pumpkin shape with a comforting flavor.

Tail-on shrimp fritters are tossed in a chestnut mayonnaise for added richness and sweetness, while scallop and porcini mushroom shumai are finished with the delicate fragrance of porcini spreading through each bite for a seasonal touch.

The stand also holds the ever-popular fig annin tofu, with its beautiful pink-and-white contrast, and a mildly flavored pumpkin mooncake.

A chestnut cream roll cake, chestnut tiramisu, and deep-fried sesame balls filled with sweet potato round things out, letting guests fully enjoy the rich flavors of autumn.

Don't miss this Moon-Viewing Afternoon Tea, reflecting the colors of the season.

For September and October only, a Lobster and Autumn Flavors Lunch & Dinner course lets guests enjoy the rich umami of lobster alongside a variety of autumn flavors.

The course opens with an appetizer platter that includes honey-glazed char siu scented with osmanthus, evoking the fragrance of autumn, followed by a smooth pumpkin soup infused with the umami of shark fin, mushrooms, and dried scallops.

The soup's vivid orange color brings a visual sense of autumn as well.

The next course pairs xiaolongbao made with rich Shanghai crab roe with beef and truffle steamed in a cartafata wrapper.

The moment the cartafata's string is untied, a rich truffle aroma rises, capturing the excitement of the season.

The seafood stir-fry features scallop and tilefish for dinner (squid for lunch), served with Chinese vegetables such as kailan, red heart radish, and water bamboo, finished with a fragrant porcini and ginkgo sauce.

The main course is steamed lobster: the meat is carefully removed and cut while keeping its presentation intact, then combined with bok choy, bean sprouts, eggplant, and glass noodles, all wrapped in the aroma and umami of XO sauce — a signature dish from the head chef.

For the rice course, grilled salmon and matsutake fried rice is served; enjoy it first on its own, then partway through pour over a fragrant matsutake dashi soup for a change of flavor.

Dessert is fig annin tofu, offering a gentle sweetness to close out the course.

Enjoy this luxurious course weaving together lobster and the season's finest ingredients.
