Armani/Ristorante's Lounge Bar on the 11th floor is refreshing its popular afternoon tea and aperitivo box with an autumn lineup starting Wednesday, September 16. Chestnut, grape, apple, fig, sweet potato, and mushroom bring the season's flavors to both the sweets and the savories, letting guests enjoy a variety of tastes, aromas, and textures drawn from ingredients at their peak.
A Seasonal Afternoon Tea Celebrating Autumn's Harvest
The sweets lineup features five items built around fruits and ingredients that come into season in autumn, including chestnut, grape, apple, and fig: a Mont Blanc showcasing the rich flavor of chestnut, a Bianco Mangiare paired with juicy grapes, a cake layering apple, caramel, and spice, and a fig and walnut scone, each expressing the season's flavors in its own way.

Mont Blanc: A rich chestnut paste hides a bright orange confiture inside. The chestnut's deep flavor is lifted by a light, tangy accent of orange.

Apple: A spice-scented sable is layered with caramel mousse, caramelized apple, and jelly. The contrasting textures and aromas bring out the apple's rich character.
The savories bring five dishes built around ingredients in season now, including sweet potato, pumpkin, mushroom, and eggplant. Woven through with touches of Italian cuisine, each dish highlights the flavor of its own ingredients: churros that make the most of sweet potato's natural sweetness, fried bread built around the umami of mushrooms, a smooth pumpkin soup, a croquette paired with chorizo, and a sandwich of eggplant, tomato, and cheese — a varied set of autumn flavors to enjoy one piece at a time.

Sweet Potato Churros: Churros built around the full sweetness of sweet potato, paired with the richness of pistachio and the tang of cornichon, layered with sweetness, acidity, and nutty aroma.

Pumpkin Soup: The gentle sweetness of pumpkin is layered with the aroma of sage, finished with crunchy breadcrumbs and pumpkin seeds for a smooth texture with a toasty accent.

Served alongside an original tea selection from Armani/Dolci, the afternoon tea invites guests to spend an elegant afternoon.

Evenings Bring Aperitivo with a View of Ginza's Night Lights
Starting the same day, September 16, Armani/Ristorante is also introducing an aperitivo box built around autumn's seasonal flavors. As with the afternoon tea, the box features nine savory dishes drawn from ingredients unique to the season. Paired with a drink in hand, guests can settle into aperitivo, the relaxed pre-dinner tradition rooted in Italian food culture, savoring each ingredient's own character at an easy pace.

The new aperitivo lineup arrives September 16, with seasonal ingredients filling out the box.

Chestnut Piadina: A piadina made with chestnut flour, paired with salty speck ham and ricotta cheese — a simple way to enjoy the season's flavors.

Jerusalem Artichoke and Walnut: A soup pairing the earthy depth of Jerusalem artichoke with the aroma of walnut, evoking a dish enjoyed on an autumn hike.
Built on traditional Italian cooking with distinctive twists on ingredient pairings and preparation, the lineup includes an octopus ragu made with fregola, Sardinia's traditional pasta, an arancino, Italy's rice croquette, and the chestnut flour piadina, each offering a taste of regional Italian food culture. Olives, smoked yellowtail, and margherita round out a range of flavors and textures that can each be enjoyed in a single bite — an aperitivo lineup unique to Armani/Ristorante.

All nine dishes of the aperitivo box.
With a glass of Champagne in hand and autumn's seasonal flavors on the table, watch Ginza slowly shift into its evening mood from the 11th floor. Enjoy the autumn evening aperitivo that Armani/Ristorante has to offer.
