"Scone & TEA Party 2026 @ IWATAYA" is coming to Iwataya Honten in Tenjin for a six-day run from May 20 (Wed) to May 25 (Mon), 2026, held at the Grand Event Hall on the 7th floor of the Main Building. A popular concept across Mitsukoshi Isetan Group stores, this marks its first appearance in Fukuoka — timed to celebrate Iwataya Honten's 90th anniversary in Tenjin. Forty-three shops specializing in scones and tea come together under one roof, offering tastings and pairings with black tea. An eat-in space on-site lets visitors enjoy a full afternoon tea experience during their visit.

On the opening day, MI Card members can enter the Grand Event Hall before regular opening hours. Early-entry ticket distribution runs until 9:45 AM. Members wishing to enter early should arrive at the Underground Passage Entrance (Kirameki-dori, B2F, Main Building) by 9:45 AM, and staff will guide visitors to the 7th floor in order.
