Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka will hold its 20th Ronnefeldt Tea Seminar titled "The Charm of African Tea That Captivated the UK" on April 16, 2026.

The seminar will feature Naoki Mori, a Tea Master Gold certified by Ronnefeldt, the prestigious German tea brand. This popular series introduces the appeal of fine tea to attendees. The upcoming session will focus on African tea, particularly from Kenya, the world's leading tea exporter.

African tea has emerged as one of the most notable tea-producing regions, standing alongside renowned areas like India and Sri Lanka. Cultivated at high altitudes and blessed with favorable climate conditions, African tea has earned high praise worldwide. Participants will enjoy tasting various African teas from regions including Kenya and Tanzania, each offering distinct characteristics.

Following the seminar, guests will move to the restaurant for a special original course featuring dishes prepared with Ronnefeldt tea. The menu includes marinated firefly squid and bonito served with a jelly made from Ronnefeldt's "Queen of Cherry" fruit-flavored tea.

About the Instructor

Naoki Mori, Ronnefeldt Tea Master Gold

After working for a restaurant planning company, Mori joined the Japanese distributor of Ronnefeldt tea. He became a Ronnefeldt-certified Tea Master in 2004. He specializes in tea training, menu development for hotels, restaurants, and cafes, and hosts tea seminars at various establishments throughout Japan.
