A new night cruise event is coming to the Hamamatsucho Shibadaimon, Takeshiba, and Shibaura waterfront this summer. General Incorporated Association Takeshiba Town Design and Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., together with Tokyu Land Corporation and Takeshiba Area Management, are launching "SHIBA TOKYO BAY NIGHT CRUISE," a cruise experience connecting the ships and the shoreline so visitors can take in Tokyo Bay's night views from the water. The event runs every Friday from August 28 to September 25, 2026, for five dates in total.
The cruise covers approximately 60 to 70 minutes around the waterfront, including the Rainbow Bridge, and comes with drinks and light bites for a special summer evening on the water. Two cruise styles are available: the lively, music-filled "PARTY CRUISE" and the more relaxed "LOUNGE CRUISE." Both offer a way to enjoy the charm of the waterfront while staying close to central Tokyo.
Taking advantage of the area's dense concentration of waterfront facilities and restaurants, the event also brings the experience on land together with the cruise itself — through food and drink service from nearby restaurants on board, tie-ins with other events happening in the area, and digital gift vouchers usable in the neighborhood before and after boarding.

The event is part of the activities of the Shiba Tokyo Bay Council, a collaborative organization formed by the area management associations of Hamamatsucho Shibadaimon, Takeshiba, and Shibaura (with Nomura Real Estate Development also a member). The council works to raise the value of the wider Shiba waterfront area by drawing on the historical and cultural resources of the greenery-rich Hamamatsucho Shibadaimon district, and by boosting activity and boat traffic in the open waterfront spaces of Takeshiba and Shibaura.
