SHIRUKOTTE (シルコッテ), a brand that combines gift confectionery with a café experience, opens its second location — SHIRUKOTTE Okazaki — on April 3, 2026 (Friday). Following the success of the first store in Komaki, which now attracts 86,000 visitors per year, the brand has expanded to Okazaki City.

What Is SHIRUKOTTE?
SHIRUKOTTE is a brand that carries on the spirit of "Shiruko Sand," a beloved local snack, and aims to be a store cherished by locals for years to come. The name is a portmanteau of SHIRU (知る・しるこサンド, meaning "to know" and "Shiruko Sand") and KOTTE (松ぼっくり, meaning pinecone — a nod to the "matsu" in Matsunaga Seika). The brand offers Japanese-Western fusion gift confectionery and a relaxed café space inspired by the essence of Shiruko Sand.
Note: Shiruko Sand itself is not sold at SHIRUKOTTE.
