The "Summer Sui Gin & Beer Garden" is returning to Swissotel Nankai Osaka for the summer of 2026. Held at the hotel's 10th-floor retro bar "Number 10," the event runs from June 3 (Wednesday) to August 30 (Sunday), following a well-received debut last year. This year brings new menu additions to complement the already popular lineup.
Situated in Osaka's vibrant Minami district, the event offers a free-flow drinks menu centered on Japanese gin "Sui (SUI)," known for its crisp and refreshing profile. Alongside Sui-based cocktails — including Sui Gin Soda, Sui Gin Tonic, and Sui Gin Chuhai — guests can also enjoy soft drinks on the Light Plan, while the Premium Plan expands the selection to include beer, red and white wine, sparkling wine, highball, and cocktails.
The food menu, shared across both plans, pairs well with the gin-forward drinks. It features a starter of crab and tomato salad with Italian dressing and side dishes of edamame, Cajun spice fries, and grilled mixed vegetables. For mains, guests can choose from six options: jumbo sausage, BBQ chicken with ginger and green onion, black pepper pork steak, American lobster BBQ, scallop in shell with butter soy sauce, and domestic Japanese beef sirloin steak.
The venue offers both open terrace seating and indoor seating, so the event can be enjoyed rain or shine. The setting suits a range of occasions, from after-work drinks to casual gatherings with friends.
The bar "Number 10" draws inspiration from the surrounding neighborhoods — Denden Town, Dotonbori, and Amerika-mura — creating a playful, adult-oriented space with arcade games, board games, and private karaoke rooms.
