TERAS Sashiko Art Exhibition Opens at Toko Pottery Gallery in Mashiko, Tochigi - February 7 to March 11

TERAS, a brand created by TOMOS company that specializes in traditional Japanese Sashiko (decorative reinforcement stitching) and Boro (patchwork textiles made from repurposed fabric), is hosting an art exhibition and limited-time pop-up shop at Toko Pottery Gallery in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture. The event runs from February 7 to March 11, 2026.

Toko Gallery x TERAS

This special collaboration brings the expression of "one stitch at a time" from the welfare workplace to Mashiko, a town renowned for its pottery and craftsmanship. The event features two components: a Sashiko art installation at Art Space Jonaizaka and a product exhibition and sales pop-up at the M-style Gallery within Toko.

Mashiko is a town where earth, fire, and handcraftsmanship breathe together. Toko Pottery Gallery, established in 1974, has been rooted in this community for over 50 years, selling and exhibiting pottery centered on Mashiko ware. This collaboration merges Toko's cultivated aesthetic sensibility with TERAS's philosophy of "taking time without cutting corners," creating an opportunity to expand the possibilities of Sashiko into new territories.
