THE ARKEOS CLUB Expands in Ginza With New Store "TAC"

THE ARKEOS CLUB opened in Ginza, Tokyo, in December 2024 as a modern store and social space where fashion serves as a meeting point for people, culture, and knowledge. Alongside brands such as ANATOMICA and Rocky Mountain Featherbed, the store offers a wide range of items including books and wine, drawing support from a broad range of adults who pass through Ginza.

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, THE ARKEOS CLUB is expanding with a new store called "TAC," located directly across from the existing store.

"Real Clothes, Real Knowledge, Real Experience — Nothing Gets in the Way. From Classic to Contemporary."

Having passed through GLOBE, HEMISPHERES, and ANATOMICA, Pierre Fournier and Kinji Teramoto arrived at THE ARKEOS CLUB. The new store, TAC, carries on THE ARKEOS CLUB's founding philosophy of passing real clothes on to the next generation, with a layout designed to be approachable for younger and next-generation fashion fans while remaining a space that a wide range of people can enjoy. No lofty expertise or years of experience are required here — newcomers to fashion and longtime clothing enthusiasts alike are treated as equals.

The store introduces the appeal of brands loved across generations — ANATOMICA, Rocky Mountain Featherbed, BIG YANK, and ALDEN — along with the history and culture behind them. A salon that explores the classics in depth while connecting them to the present is the vision of the future store that Fournier and Teramoto have pursued. Rather than simply expanding the sales floor, the aim is to create a space where an even wider range of people can come together.

At the newly expanded TAC, items built around the concept of "ANATOMICA x BLUE ARCHAEOLOGY" bring together carefully selected pieces that showcase Japanese blue in vivid detail. Rocky Mountain Featherbed, meanwhile, uses a varied color palette and range of materials to propose a deeper world view. Through vintage military wear, the store explores the structure, history, and culture of clothing in an almost archaeological way, aiming to reach fashion lovers around the world — including younger generations — from this newly expanded space. THE ARKEOS CLUB intends to work alongside TAC toward becoming a salon for the present day.

Key Elements of TAC

"RMFC x COLOR PALETTE"

A world expressed through a rich color palette, built on the heritage of Rocky Mountain Featherbed. Centered on the down jackets that symbolize the brand, the space lets visitors enjoy different combinations of color and material.

"ANATOMICA x BLUE ARCHAEOLOGY"

Items built around the keyword "JAPAN BLUE," including vintage military wear and ANATOMICA's "618 JEANS," are on display. Exploring the background of clothing tied to Japanese blue, the section looks at construction, details, and the culture born in each era to introduce the appeal of clothing that connects the classic to the contemporary.

ANATOMICA x GANZO
Horween Leather Collection

A special collaboration between ANATOMICA and GANZO featuring leather goods made with "Horse Strip" leather from the American tannery Horween. The collection traces back to the 1980s, when Pierre Fournier crossed paths with Ajioka's leather goods at the Paris shop "HEMISPHERES" — a connection that, over time, led to this collaboration between GANZO and THE ARKEOS CLUB. The rare leather used shows the natural tiger-stripe grain, veining, and wrinkles unique to each hide.

Passing On the Chance to Discover Clothing to the Next Generation

What matters most to THE ARKEOS CLUB isn't simply selling clothes.

Through clothing, the store hopes to create moments — rooted in Ginza — where people can learn about the history and culture behind each piece, meet one another, and enjoy conversation.

While evolving with each season, THE ARKEOS CLUB continues to hold onto its unchanging commitment to conveying real clothes, and to proposing new worlds ahead.
