The Kitano Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo's only Relais & Châteaux member hotel, is offering a special wellness-focused stay package running from April 29 to July 31, 2026. Developed in partnership with Uchiike Acupuncture & Osteopathy Clinic, the "Urban Retreat — Kitano x Uchiike Wellness Stay Plan" brings together quality sleep, health-conscious dining, and professional wellness treatments all under one roof.

Urban Retreat — Kitano x Uchiike Wellness Stay Plan

Period: April 29, 2026 (Wed) to July 31, 2026 (Fri)

Includes: Special wellness package (accommodation, dinner, breakfast, and wellness treatment)

Price: From ¥84,600 per person for single occupancy (varies by room type and treatment selection)

  • Dinner at the main dining room "Orangerie Koan" is available except on regular closures (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday)
  • Treatment sessions at Uchiike Acupuncture & Osteopathy Clinic run 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, except Sundays
  • All prices include tax and a 15% service charge

With Acupuncture — 120 minutes

  • Beauty-focused: Acupuncture (one side) + custom beauty menu
  • Health-focused: Acupuncture (one side) + custom health menu

Without Acupuncture — 90 minutes

  • Beauty-focused: Custom beauty menu (acupuncture removed)
  • Health-focused: Custom health menu (acupuncture removed)

Custom Menu Options

Beauty: Acupuncture (other side), moxibustion, gentle electro facial pack, lymphatic drainage, foot reflexology, jaw joint adjustment, body contouring

Health: Acupuncture (other side), moxibustion, physical stretching or massage (30, 60, or 90 minutes)

Dining: Good for the Body, Satisfying to the Palate

Dinner and breakfast are both served at the main dining room, Orangerie Koan. In the evening, the room takes on a soft, relaxed atmosphere, while mornings are filled with natural light. Executive Chef Kamo Ken's menu focuses on food that is kind to the body. Dinner is available as a French cuisine course or à la carte, while breakfast offers a choice of Japanese or Western set menus.

Kitano's guest rooms prioritize comfort in every detail — windows that let in fresh air, Airweave mattresses in all rooms, building materials low in allergens, the latest earthquake-resistant construction, and high soundproofing throughout.

Special Event: Kitano Morning Wellness Run

Date: May 16, 2026 (Sat) — held rain or shine

This outdoor run event makes use of the hotel's prime location near the Imperial Palace, a popular spot for runners in Tokyo. The breakfast following the run is now open to visitors (not just hotel guests).

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM — Gather at "Re Ra Ku Pro Nagatacho"
  • 7:15 AM — 5km run around the Imperial Palace (includes tour commentary near Sakurada Gate and Nijubashi, and training at Sakurada Gate Plaza)
  • 8:45 AM — Return to "Re Ra Ku Pro Nagatacho"
  • 9:15 AM — Breakfast at Orangerie Koan, The Kitano Hotel Tokyo (light menu including select eggs, seasonal vegetables, soup, and house-made yogurt)

Price: ¥9,500 per person (includes Re Ra Ku facility use, Imperial Palace tour, and breakfast)
