La Jyho Live Kitchen, the buffet area inside "All Day Dining La Jyho" at Kyoto Century Hotel, is presenting "THE THEATER BUFFET -Summer-," a limited summer lunch and dinner buffet running from June 25 (Thursday) to August 26 (Wednesday), 2026.


The centerpiece of La Jyho Live Kitchen is "MEAT THEATER." Three stations — grill, carving, and teppan — serve a rotating lineup of meat dishes spanning Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, with the menu changing completely every 30 minutes. Wagyu takes center stage as the signature ingredient, with this summer's lineup including lighter warm-weather options such as "Seared Duck Breast Steak with Yuzu Kosho" and, at dinner, "Wagyu Shabu-Shabu with Yuba Sauce." Heartier dishes include "Wagyu Steak" and "Churrasco with Chicken and Sausage" at lunch, and "Wagyu Roast Beef" and "Grilled Wagyu Hamburger Steak" at dinner.
Beyond the meat station, the buffet line offers summer flavors including "Pan-Seared Sea Bass," "Grilled Eggplant and Tomato Caprese," and, at dinner, a "Seafood Tower." Desserts feature refreshing options such as "Fruit Jelly," "Lemon Tart," and "Orange Shortcake" — a citrus-bright finish to the summer spread.


All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu and More at "MEAT THEATER"
"MEAT THEATER" is a live kitchen where chefs prepare dishes right in front of guests — the sizzling sounds, rising aromas, and open flames make even the waiting time part of the experience. The menu spans Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, with wagyu and other meats offered all-you-can-eat: 6 dishes at lunch and 9 at dinner.

Customizable Corners: "TEA CRAFT THEATER" and "ICE CREAM ATELIER"
La Jyho Live Kitchen also features two interactive customization corners.
The drink bar "TEA CRAFT THEATER" lets guests create their own tea mocktail. Choose from four tea bases — including rooibos and Taiwanese oolong — then mix in seasonal fresh or frozen fruit and finishing syrups such as passion fruit or elderflower.

"ICE CREAM ATELIER" features around 20 types each of ice cream and toppings. Retro parfait glasses are provided, and guests can build their own creation using toppings from classic picks like corn flakes, marshmallows, and nuts to Kyoto-inspired choices like kuromitsu (black sugar syrup) and matcha chocolate sauce.
