The 5th TODA CLASSIC CAR CLASS REUNION (第5回トダクラシックカー同窓会) will be held at Boat Race Toda (ボートレース戸田) in Toda, Saitama Prefecture, on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The event is organized by Toda Kurashi Fudosan (トダくらし不動産).
Started in 2022, the event displays classic cars built from the 1960s to the 1990s by era, in a "class reunion" style. More than 100 classic cars that their owners have kept driving with care will gather, from nostalgic kei cars such as the Subaru 360 to sports cars that people once admired.
For this 5th edition, the venue moves from Saiko-Doman Green Park (彩湖・道満グリーンパーク), where the event had been held until now, to Boat Race Toda. The event is open to car lovers as well as families and local residents of all generations.
A Day When Classic Cars Gather Like a Class Reunion
What sets the TODA CLASSIC CAR CLASS REUNION apart is the way cars from the 1960s to the 1990s are displayed, as if friends who ran through the same era were meeting again.
Automobiles evolved alongside Japanese life and culture, from the period of rapid economic growth through the bubble era. The design and presence of each car are filled with memories of its time and the story of its owner.
On the day, a variety of classic cars from Japan and abroad will gather, and visitors can enjoy these cars of a bygone era up close.
You don't need to know much about cars. Memories such as "we used to ride in one with the family" or "I admired one as a child" naturally spark conversation, and this kind of exchange across generations is one of the event's appeals.
A New Autumn Tradition in Toda Since 2022
The event was first held in 2022 at Saiko-Doman Green Park in Toda. It has been held every year since, and has been introduced by local media as well as automotive media.
The 4th edition in 2025 drew more than 150 classic cars, and the event has grown into one enjoyed not only by enthusiasts but by people of a wide range of generations. Exchanges between owners have widened with each edition, and the event is becoming an established fixture of autumn in Toda.
The 5th Edition Moves to Boat Race Toda
Until now, the event was held at Saiko-Doman Green Park. For the 5th edition, it moves to Boat Race Toda, which could be called the "sacred ground" of Toda City.
More than 100 classic cars will gather at Boat Race Toda. A place that usually draws people who come to enjoy boat racing will become a special space for classic cars on this day.
By holding the event at the new venue, the organizers hope it will be enjoyed by an even wider range of generations, including classic car enthusiasts, local residents, and families.
